Custom Engraving For Your Rings
A fingerprint engraving will make your wedding rings truly special. Every fingerprint is unique - just like the bond between two people. This type of engraving transforms a beautiful piece of jewelry into a personal keepsake with deep meaning.
A Custom Engraving
The fingerprint engraving is a custom-made service. You can also add a short text, such as a name or a date. This creates a truly personal piece of jewelry tailored exactly to your wishes. The fingerprint engraving is best suited for rings with a width of 2.5 – 3 mm or wider.
How the Fingerprint Engraving Works
For the engraving, we need a clear, legible fingerprint. Our engraver recommends the following method:
- Color in an area on a white sheet of paper using a soft pencil
- Press your finger onto it
- Pick up the fingerprint using a wide strip of clear adhesive tape
- Then stick the tape onto a white sheet of paper
It is important that the lines are clearly visible so that we can transfer the fingerprint to the piece of jewelry with great detail. Once we receive it, we will carefully prepare the print and engrave it with precision.

The production time consists of two stages: crafting the jewellery and the engraving. The engraving takes about two weeks and is added to the manufacturing time. For rings, such as wedding rings, the total production time after payment is around five weeks (approx. three weeks for crafting and two weeks for engraving). For other pieces like silver or solid gold necklaces, the total time is usually shorter, around two to three weeks in total.
Our gold-plated pieces require an additional finishing step, which may slightly extend the overall production time.
This gives you a clear idea of when your individual piece will be ready, depending on the item.
