Adjustable Necklaces – Two Systems, Versatile to Wear
Our adjustable necklaces in silver and gold-plated silver can be easily adjusted in length for versatile styling. Depending on the piece, we use two different systems, each designed to suit the respective chain: a smooth snake chain or a finely textured wheat chain. Both hold the pendant securely in the desired position and allow you to wear it higher or lower to suit your neckline and personal style.
Snake chain – Minimalist and Flexible
Our adjustable snake chains are characterised by their smooth, minimalist appearance and fluid movement. Their fine, even surface sits beautifully against the skin and allows the pendant to take centre stage. For the length adjustment, two small beads are securely soldered to the pendant, with the chain running through them. Inside each bead, a silicone element gently holds the chain in position while allowing it to glide smoothly when adjusted. This makes it easy to adjust the necklace length and wear the pendant higher or lower depending on your neckline or personal preference. Due to their fine structure, snake chains should be protected from sharp bends and strong pulling. We recommend removing the necklace before sleeping, exercising or doing physical work.

Wheat chain – Textured and Robust
Our adjustable wheat chains have a fine, open structure and a more textured appearance than the smooth snake chain. They are also robust and easy to wear in everyday life. For the length adjustment, the chain runs through two small metal tubes soldered to the pendant. Its open structure creates subtle holding points that keep the pendant securely in position. The adjustment has a slightly more tactile feel than the smooth glide of a snake chain, while still allowing you to easily adjust the necklace length. The wheat chain is less sensitive to kinking than a snake chain, but both systems should still be adjusted with care.
How to Adjust Your Necklace
Both systems should be adjusted gently and with care. As shown in the video, hold the pendant with one hand and slowly adjust one chain at a time with the other. Make sure the chain runs straight through the openings of the pendant while adjusting it. Avoid pulling the chain at an angle, sideways movement. The adjustment mechanism is carefully crafted to keep the pendant securely in place.
